About the Role
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for safely handling steel and tubular products within the warehouse using overhead cranes and other equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately picked, stored, and prepared for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the magnetic overhead crane to move, stack, and position steel and tubular products.
Load and unload trucks using overhead crane attachments, including magnetic plates and slings.
Pick and dispatch steel products according to customer orders.
Read and interpret manual picking slips to accurately prepare orders.
Store products safely and efficiently within designated warehouse areas.
Assist with stock control and regular inventory checks.
Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and stock movement (LF Licence advantageous but not essential).
Undertake training on band saw operation and assist with cutting timber gluts when required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
About You

Essential Requirements
Able to pass pre-employment checks.
Physically fit for manual handling duties.
No pacemakers or metal implants due to the magnetic equipment used on site.
Commitment to workplace safety procedures.
Shift Times
Day Shift - $35.96 (inclusive of casual loading)
Monday to Thursday: 5:54am – 2:00pm
Friday: 4:54am – 1:00pm
Afternoon Shift - $40.28 (inclusive of shift & casual loading)
Monday to Thursday: 1:54pm – 10:00pm
Friday: 12:54pm – 9:00pm
Occasional weekend overtime may be available.
PPE Requirements
Candidates must provide:
Long-sleeved high-visibility shirt (yellow or green with reflective tape)
Long work pants
Steel-capped boots
Additional PPE supplied by our client:
Hard hat with chin strap
